About The Position

Purpose & Scope: The exercise Physiologist provides quality patient care through setting up and supervising, stress tests in Cardiovascular Diagnostics and Nuclear Medicine. Responsibilities include demonstrating clinical knowledge in physical assessment, performing high quality cardiology stress testing and 12-Lead EKGs, knowledge in EKG rhythms and kinesiology/exercise science, and providing clerical support among other duties. This position supports the mission, philosophy, and objectives of VHC Health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or in a related field is required.
• ACLS certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Two years of experience in cardiovascular stress testing or cardiopulmonary rehab is preferred.
• Certification in Cardiopulmonary Clinical Area or certified Exercise Physiologist is preferred.
