The exercise physiologist provides members with the best possible fitness experience by giving them the tools, direction, and motivation to help them succeed. He or she must have the communication and interpersonal skills to educate and inspire members to meet their goals and to motivate clients to give their best on a daily basis. The Exercise Physiologist provides fitness assessments, creates and monitors exercise programs, and maintains the fitness center and equipment in a meticulously detailed and functional manner. The ideal candidate has a degree in Exercise Science or a related field. Comfortable working with varied populations and teaching large and small group fitness classes.. Current certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid a plus. He or she has a positive attitude and is enthusiastic about fitness, has an active lifestyle, and has superior customer service skills.
