The opportunity As the Executive Talent Acquisition Senior Consultant, you will serve as a strategic partner for the Executive leading the acquisition and integration of our Direct Admit Partners (DAPs) across all service lines and functions, including Global Growth & Innovation and Clients & Industries. This role is designed to be highly advisory, you’ll be the executive lead for hard-to-fill, sensitive or multi-geography mandates, partnering with our most senior global board members, external vendors and candidates to ensure that each DAP hires is set up for long term success while elevating EY’s employer brand.

Requirements

  • Extensive executive/DAP recruiting experience in a global, matrixed environment; proven delivery across multiple geographies.
  • Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and navigating approval frameworks.
  • Ability to build relationships with virtual stakeholders.
  • Ability to flex your work schedule to accommodate multiple global time zones, as needed
  • Advisory mindset with strong talent, intelligence, storytelling; comfort with ambiguity and fast-pivot execution.
  • Rigorous process discipline (risk, independence, documentation); deft handling of confidential information.
  • Collaboration and matrix navigation across Executive Recruiting, Talent, and business leadership.
  • Proficiency with Avature and TA² dashboards/scorecards; fluency using data to drive decisions and course correct.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Executive Partner & Advisor Partner with Executive Leaders (Global Managing Partners, Vice-Chairs, Service Line and Function Leaders) to calibrate role profiles, success outcomes, and approval pathways specific to the Executive’s governance model (working with established approver matrices and thresholds).
  • Aide in selection of global retained vendors to support DAP needs; manage vendor relationship.
  • Serve as influencer and business advisor, connecting the dots between global and region in a complex and matrixed environment
  • Coordinate with Global/Regional Executive TA2 leads and SMEs to align messaging, talent pools, and succession pipelines; leverage the global Executive Recruiting network for cross-border searches.
  • Ensure independence, risk and quality standards are embedded from the first touchpoint (e.g., early conflict checks, background protocols, documentation, usage of Avature).
  • Global Collaboration, Governance & Vendor Management Operate as part of a unified global Executive Recruiting team, clarifying process ownership and ensuring smooth hand-offs or co-ownership across regions.
  • Select and manage global retained vendors, optimizing performance, pricing, and sector fit, while minimizing third-party spend through direct sourcing.
  • Contribute to TA² communities of practice (playbooks, templates, calibration tools) and drive continuous improvement in process and candidate experience.
  • Partner with global and local teams to manage DAP admissions and ensure compliance with risk, independence, and quality standards from the first touchpoint.
  • Data, insights & continuous improvement Track and report funnel health and KPI delivery to Executive leaders.
  • Manage regular reporting to Executive leaders on DAP pipeline.
  • Use talent intelligence and hiring data to influence route-to-market choices, reduce agency reliance, and inform leadership on feasibility, compensation tensions, and relocation patterns.
  • Design and implement tailored onboarding and integration plans for new DAPs, ensuring alignment with company culture, strategy, and stakeholder expectations.

  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $129,500 to $249,200.
  • The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $155,300 to $283,200.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
