About The Position

As Executive Talent Acquisition and Sourcing Director, you will be responsible for leading recruiting and talent strategy across C-suite and senior leadership hiring, serving as a subject matter expert in executive assessment, fair and validated selection practices, and candidate experience. The position partners closely with senior leaders to drive end-to-end recruiting strategies, and develop and coach Talent Acquisition teams. Responsibilities include strategic oversight of the Sourcing function with a view of cutting edge tools and resources. The role also oversees vendor and agency relationships, contracts and approvals. The incumbent would also sponsor and deliver high-impact initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in HR and/or relevant business roles (or 15+ years combined experience without a degree), including 5+ years in Talent Acquisition and management
  • 10+ years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or training
  • Understanding of financial services industry is preferred
  • Strong client focus with outstanding judgment, critical thinking and communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong project management skills
  • Understanding of HR policies, as well as an ability to mitigate risk.
  • Ability to multi-task and deal with uncertainties of an evolving, dynamic organization
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail required

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end executive recruiting for C‑suite and senior leadership roles, including research, assessment strategy, interview facilitation, and finalist selection
  • Partner with the Talent Office on proactive sourcing, internal prospects and succession planning
  • Serve as subject matter expert for executive assessment processes, ensuring fair, validated, and consistent evaluation practices
  • Develop and implement competency and skills frameworks to support equitable hiring decisions and reduce bias
  • Facilitate interview debrief sessions and prepare executive‑level hiring presentations and recommendations
  • Deliver personalized candidate feedback and manage senior‑level candidate experience, including non‑selected executives
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development for Talent Acquisition and Sourcing Managers through through regular 1:1s, performance discussions, and goal setting
  • Assist in leading talent acquisition strategy execution, including workforce initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Manage executive search agencies and external vendors, including contract negotiation, renewals, and performance management
  • Provide governance for executive agreements and assessment vendors
  • Ensure compliance with assessment validation, adverse impact analysis, and hiring policy standards
  • Sponsor and lead high‑impact TA special projects
  • Contribute to enterprise talent reporting, executive updates, mentoring programs, and community impact initiatives

  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Exercise usual authority of a manager concerning staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, performance management and terminations.
