We’re seeking an experienced Executive Superintendent to lead multiple high-end residential projects from start to finish while mentoring a team of superintendents and carpenters. This is a key leadership role that ensures our projects are executed with excellence, efficiency, and the highest level of craftsmanship, all while maintaining the standards and values that define the Andrew Roby name. Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in custom residential construction; commercial construction experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction through completion
  • Deep understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost management
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineered drawings, and project specifications
  • Exceptional leadership, mentorship, and team development skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, vendors, and trade partners

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight & Quality Management Ensure all assigned projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage multiple job sites through consistent communication and coordination with all involved parties
  • Review and interpret project plans, pricing, and schedules in collaboration with Project Managers
  • Oversee inspections to ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company standards
  • Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, safety, and cleanliness
  • Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Superintendents and Carpenters to promote excellence and accountability
  • Conduct regular safety “toolbox” meetings and ensure adherence to all safety protocols
  • Train new Superintendents and field staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Lead by example through professionalism, work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Client & Partner Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners
  • Attend regular project meetings to ensure alignment and resolve challenges proactively
  • Represent Andrew Roby with integrity, transparency, and responsiveness at every stage of the project
  • Operational Excellence Manage job documentation including progress logs, work orders, change orders, photos, and time data
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables using project management software
  • Ensure company vehicles, tools, and job sites reflect professionalism and organizational standards
  • Continuous Improvement & Professional Development Stay current with industry standards, construction technology, and safety practices
  • Participate in professional training, certifications, and associations to maintain expertise and leadership
