This includes managing the stewarding department, ensuring the proper care and cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, dishware, and food storage areas, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The Executive Steward also works closely with the culinary and banquet team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and support service delivery. Who You Are: Able to make quick, effective decisions, especially in high-pressure situations, such as during peak service times or equipment malfunctions. Empower team members to take pride in their work while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. Clear and effective communicator able to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other departments. Detailed, efficient, and process oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively. Safety-conscious and proficient with local health codes and food safety regulations, making sure your department complies with these to avoid violations or penalties.
