The Sales Development Executive will function as the Production Printing Sales Specialist responsible for ensuring achievement of the Region Plan for the Monochrome and Color Cut Sheet Production product families. This role ensures achievement of the Region Plan for the Monochrome and Color Cut Sheet Production product families. It also validates the 90-day forecast for these products by sales rep and prepares accurate forecasts (minimum 85% monthly accuracy). The Executive acts as a subject matter and competitive expert, leading, coaching, and driving the sales process to reach plan achievements. They support managers in driving a high level of prospecting activities and provide sales support necessary to meet an adequate level of sales cycles and support Sales Reps' selling efforts. The position manages the sales cycle for key, multiple unit prospects, including key direct sales activities such as customer presentations, demonstrations, proposals, and closing business. It ensures sales representatives are fully trained and proficient in performing steps in the sales cycle, participates in all critical presentations, and gives key demonstrations as required. The Executive is a team member, interacting with other Region Specialists on an ongoing basis to develop and exchange best practices and creative ideas in driving sales, and builds customer confidence in Canon's and the product offerings.
