This critical role is responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end executive search lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and superior experience for senior-level candidates, interviewers, and organizational leaders.   • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required with significant relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in executive recruitment coordination, executive search, or comparable exempt-level talent acquisition roles preferred
  • Expert proficiency in executive recruitment technology, databases, and advanced Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Search Leadership: Oversee and direct all phases of executive recruitment operations—from requisition initiation through executive onboarding—ensuring seamless resume screening, shortlisting, management of complex schedules, stakeholder meetings, and talent assessments at the highest organizational levels.
  • Executive Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional, “white-glove” candidate experience for executive-level talent, managing personalized communications and ensuring Duke Health’s values are reflected at every touchpoint.
  • Resource & Process Management: Develop, maintain, and enhance recruitment infrastructure—including executive pipelines, pre-brief materials, and real-time reporting—to support timely and informed decision-making.
  • Executive Onboarding Facilitation: Direct the seamless transition and onboarding of executive hires, partnering closely with senior leadership and executive assistants to ensure a world-class assimilation experience.
  • Process Improvement Leadership: Collaborate with talent strategies leadership to drive continuous improvement and innovation in executive recruitment strategy and operations.
  • Talent Pipeline Development: Proactively organize and facilitate executive recruitment initiatives, including strategic talent mapping, engagement sessions, and leadership pipeline cultivation.
  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Forge and nurture strategic partnerships with executive recruiters, senior business leaders, and executive assistants, serving as the principal liaison for executive search logistics and process optimization.
  • Proactive Communication & Issue Resolution: Anticipate and resolve operational challenges, providing timely updates and strategic recommendations to executive search partners and stakeholders.
  • Confidential Information Stewardship: Act as a trusted steward of highly sensitive executive search information, maintaining strict confidentiality and professional discretion throughout all communications and interactions.
  • Advanced Administrative Leadership: Oversee executive calendars, organize complex travel logistics, and prepare high-impact agendas, reports, and presentations for senior audiences.
