About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Protection Specialist to join our Corporate Security function based in Montréal. This role is responsible for providing discreet, professional executive protection services to designated members of senior leadership. The successful candidate will support executive safety through risk assessment, advance work, travel security, and close protection operations in both domestic and international environments. Location: Montréal, QC | Travel Requirement: 50%+ (Domestic & International)

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in executive protection, law enforcement, military, or corporate security roles.
  • Bilingualism (French and English)
  • Demonstrated experience providing protection for C‑suite or high‑profile executives.
  • Strong threat assessment, situational awareness, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Experience conducting protective advances and coordinating executive travel security.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; executive and defensive driving experience preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to travel extensively (50%+), including international travel on short notice.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal Executive Protection or dignitary protection training.
  • Experience supporting executives in global or multinational environments.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and professional presence.
  • Familiarity with residential and corporate physical security systems.
  • Experience working with external security vendors and local authorities.
  • Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver close and discreet executive protection for designated executives and, when required, their families.
  • Conduct threat assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability reviews related to travel, events, residences, and facilities.
  • Plan and execute domestic and international protective advances, including high‑risk locations.
  • Develop and implement security plans, emergency response procedures, and contingency measures.
  • Coordinate secure transportation logistics, routes, accommodations, and venue security.
  • Support residential and corporate site security programs, including access control, alarms, and surveillance systems.
  • Provide security coverage for executive participation in meetings, public appearances, conferences, and special events.
  • Serve as a liaison with executive leadership, executive assistants, corporate security teams, and external security partners.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive information.
  • Remain available for frequent travel and non‑standard working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
