About The Position

Vanguard Landing is a brand-new community for adults with intellectual disabilities here in Virginia Beach! And our Executive Liaisons are an integral part of our team here on campus! This role provides administrative, organizational, and communication support for Vanguard Landing's leadership team, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent experiences for families, partners, visitors and our residents! What you'll do: Greet and welcome all guests, families, community partners with professionalism and warmth; Remain at front desk to monitor front door Answer the official Vanguard Landing phone and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information or directing calls to the appropriate staff; Support Directors and Mangers when asked by doing administrative tasks Assist the Executive Director with coordinating tours, event preparations and on-campus hospitality as required Participate (when asked) in staff meetings and trainings to ensure consistency of service and communication Collect mail in box provided when delivered and place in Mailroom for residents to sort into the mailboxes and let Directors know if packages arrive Draft letters and make phone calls for the Directors as requested Any other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director Read, understand and agree to adhere to VGL's policy and procedure manual

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • some college preferred
  • Prior administrative or Executive Assistant experiences strongly preferred
