The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's housekeeping operations. This includes supervising a team of Assistant Housekeepers, Breakfast Attendants, Room Attendants, Laundry staff, Housemen, and Night Cleaners to ensure that all areas of the building meet cleanliness standards. The role involves training, scheduling, and assigning duties to department personnel, as well as checking the quality of work and making necessary corrections. The Executive Housekeeper also handles guest complaints related to housekeeping, manages supplies and uniforms, tests new products, and coordinates with maintenance for repairs. Daily inspection of all rooms is a key responsibility, along with assisting the housekeeping department with cleaning tasks when needed to optimize labor.
