About The Position

A private couple is seeking a 5-star executive housekeeper for their SoHo residence. The role is Monday through Friday, and will be about 40 hours per week. The family has a medium-sized dog, and you will be responsible for walks.

Requirements

• A warm, positive person who brings a 'can-do' approach to the role
• Able to help with the family dog and be active outside
• Organised and meticulous with an eye for detail
• Dedicated and loyal character with a professional demeanour

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience caring for fine furnishings, fabrics, and artwork is preferred
• Experience working as a team would be beneficial
• The family enjoys entertaining, so flexibility around extra hours and helping with the preparation for guests would also be welcome
• Some meal prep and cooking (if possible!)
• The family has other homes in the Tri-State area, and they would love someone who, a few times a year, would help go out and train staff.

Responsibilities

• Overall cleaning of the residence, while working well with other staff and principals
• Vacuuming/dusting
• Cleaning kitchen
• Grocery shopping
• Deep-cleaning bathrooms
• Washing and ironing linens
• Making beds
• Laundry with particular attention to washing instructions
• Ironing clothing
• Maintaining the organization of the pantry and closets
