What you will have an opportunity to do: EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER Job Summary Responsible for overseeing and directing all housekeeping operations in the hotel; ensuring cleanliness, organization and high standards of service. This role involves managing housekeeping staff, maintaining quality control and ensuring guest satisfaction while adhering to budgetary guidelines and hotel policies

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of hotel rooms experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing the department.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours; including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak and understand basic Spanish is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the operations of housekeeping, laundry and public area cleaning
  • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back of the house spaces meet and exceed cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Implement and enforce hotel brand standards, health regulations and safety protocols
  • Monitor and enforce all hotel policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and address any and all deficiencies
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all housekeeping staff
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among associates
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities
  • Monitor departmental budgets and control labor and supply costs
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest request and complaints
  • Ensure lost and found procedures are followed
  • Work closely with other departments, including front office and maintenance, to enhance the guest experience
  • Assist in the oversight and cleanliness of the employee cafeteria
  • Other duties as requested by management
