About The Position

The Boeing Company is on the lookout for a talented Material Coordinator to join our team in support of the Executive Fleet in San Antonio, Texas. Position Responsibilities: Conducts inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration/ damage Removes and issues material from storage and prepares it for shipment Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment Able to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrance due to weather or physical location and conditions May order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties Responsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, FOD, contracts, facilities, housekeeping, inventory control and other pertinent coverage Reviews and analyzes production scheduling requirements to determine products, materials, and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedules Identifies, investigates, analyzes and determines best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules and budgets for material costs At times may perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement, inventories, schedules and configuration control Performs other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, program, and employee(s) This position may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for this position

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability
  • Requires Computer experience and competency
  • Currently have or have the ability to obtain a forklift license
  • This position may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
