About The Position

Executive Field Support Senior Advisor Location: This role requires associates to work from the posted locations full-time, enabling consistent face-to-face collaboration, teamwork, and direct engagement. The Field Support Senior Advisor is responsible for overseeing teams daily work assignments as they relate to hardware repairs and software installations and insuring repairs are done within their SLA. How You Will Make an Impact Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Provide direction to other technicians on resolving complex hardware issues and plans, oversees and provides resources to handle large-scale manufacturer hardware recalls. Creates hardware support plans and provides adequate staffing for offices. Advises technicians on which standard products should be selected and decides when hardware exceptions should be considered. Plans and provides resources to conduct large scale hardware deploys. Assigns resources that assist in the clean up of large software deployments conducted by Software delivery and provides resources/plans to respond in crisis situations that may involve deployment of software patches. Works with external vendors for providing remote-hands work when needed and budgets funds, resources and support plans for remote hands work. Assist customers in planning moves by making technical recommendations and answering logistical questions. Participates in move planning meetings which may establish move dates and work schedules. Oversees all resources (external contractors and internal labor) working on Tech Refresh. Verifies that contractors are being used in an optimal and cost effective manner and that Tech Refresh is done within budget. Approves contractor time submissions and PlanView time recordings. Assigns resources to other lights-on projects and assess the need for utilizing internal versus external resources to ensure projects are done within schedule and budget.

Requirements

  • Requires an AA/AS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience with 3 years experience in a professional/leadership role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft A+, Network+ certifications strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years VIP/Executive C-Suite level, hands-on direct support and technical expertise, is strongly preferred.
