The Executive Director is responsible for fundraising, relationship management with key stakeholders, and the overall leadership of the AmeriCorps programs in Alabama. This individual will set the vision and direction for the state programs and will effectively lead their team to maximize impact for individuals served by the program, while also providing an exceptional service experience for our AmeriCorps members and partnering sites. As Ampact’s first staff leader in Alabama, the Executive Director will be responsible for establishing the organization’s presence in the state by launching initial AmeriCorps programs, building foundational partnerships, and recruiting and leading the inaugural state-based team. This role will lay the groundwork for sustainable growth while ensuring alignment with Ampact’s mission, standards, and national strategy
