About The Position

The Executive Director is the strategic leader of Soccer Shots Denver/Boulder. In this role, you’ll oversee the leadership team, set vision and priorities, and ensure that our program consistently meets — and exceeds — performance expectations. You will not manage every daily detail yourself. Instead, you’ll lead, manage, and hold accountable the Directors of Coaching and Development (and other key leaders) who execute the day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with them to drive growth, deliver excellence, and maintain a strong culture that aligns with our mission and values.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership or management experience (youth programs, education, recreation, or business operations preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead teams, build culture, and hold people accountable.
  • Strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth, systems, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable with occasional evening/weekend work and on-site engagement.
  • Passion for youth development and mission-driven leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, support, and hold accountable the leadership team, including the Director of Coaching and Director of Development.
  • Set clear expectations, establish key priorities, and ensure all leaders deliver on performance goals.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings, manage priorities using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework, and drive team alignment.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, collaborative, and growth-oriented culture.
  • Work closely with leadership to meet and exceed seasonal enrollment, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Identify new program opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with leadership on annual planning, budgeting, and growth initiatives.
  • Represent Soccer Shots with professionalism and integrity in all community and partner relationships.
  • Support and strengthen partnerships with schools, parks, soccer clubs, and community organizations.
  • Occasionally attend events, demos, or meetings to deepen relationships and increase visibility.
  • Ensure systems, processes, and communication structures are effective and efficient.
  • Maintain a high standard of program quality and customer experience across all operations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure the organization achieves key KPIs (including enrollment, revenue, and NPS).
