About The Position
The Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging is seeking a full-time applicant for the Executive Director position. The position is responsible for the overall management and administration of the Agency. This includes planning and supervising all existing programs for the aging population in the Agency’s 22-county service area. About the Agency: The Northeast Nebraska Area Agency on Aging provides a comprehensive and coordinated service system to older adults. The mission of the Agency is to assist older adults to remain independent in their homes. This is done through a variety of services and programs. Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in fields such as public administration, business administration, human relations, social science, etc.
- Four years of full-time employment in fields such as aging, public health, social work or related fields may substitute for the education requirement
- computer experience
- great organizational skills
- communicate effectively and with diplomacy
- Valid driver’s license as local travel is required
Responsibilities

- Starting pay is $85,000 per year with a 5% increase after a successful 6-month introductory period
