Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Massachusetts Assisted Living regulations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, operations, and personnel effectively
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on‑call coverage

Nice To Haves

  • Senior Living and/or Management experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the clinical operations of the Assisted Living, ensuring residents receive high-quality care that complies with Massachusetts Assisted Living regulations.
  • Supervise and support nursing and resident care staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
  • Conduct and review resident assessments, service plans, and care plan updates, ensuring services meet each resident’s changing medical and personal care needs.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to support resident health, medication management, and continuity of care.
  • Monitor quality assurance, incident reporting, infection control, and regulatory compliance, maintaining documentation and preparing for state surveys or audits.
  • Partner with families, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to address resident concerns, support care transitions, and promote resident safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
