Job Description Summary The Executive Director will have the responsibility for and authority to manage all aspects of the SRALAB at the Partnership location including the The Executive Director will have the responsibility for and authority to manage all aspects of the SRALAB at the Partnership location including the management direction of all management staff, rehabilitation nursing staff and allied health staff assigned to the PM&R Program, in partnership with the Medical Director. The Executive Director will be an employee of SRALAB and function with the Medical Director as a self-managed team. The Executive Director will report directly to the Vice President, Strategic Alliances, and will have accountability to certain other administrative/executive representatives of SRALAB and the partnership. In addition, the Executive Director will be accountable to the Oversight/Governing Committee of the SRALAB Partnership. The Executive Director will work collaboratively with appropriate members of the management teams of the Partnership and SRALAB affiliate to assure that the services of the Program are coordinated and integrated with other affiliate services. Job Description The Executive Director will: Together with Medical Director, oversees all activities of the PM&R Program. Leadership in extensive program development for acute medical/surgical, inpatient acute, outpatient, any future services of the partnership; Budget development and variance analysis Management of financial and material resources within the approved budget; Ensuring Program compliance with regularity and accrediting agencies; Monitoring and analyzing financial operations and devising proactive strategies to ensure favorable financial performance; Development, implementation and management of referral promotion and marketing plan, specific to SRALAB at the Partnership; Successful collaboration with and leadership of the relationship with Alliance Health System. Selection and management selection of key staff for each service line level of care; programs, and sites of care; Identification of appropriate skill mix and staffing plans for each service line, program, and site of care; Education of allied health staff; Staff development and performance evaluation Perform all other duties that may be assigned in the best interest of SRALAB. The Executive Director will work in concert with the Medical Director to design, implement, and operate the following: A high-quality and cost efficient Program; Standards of quality and budgetary performance consistent with SRALAB and Partnership standards; A Program responsible to the needs of the community and payers; Staffing levels/ratios consistent with the SRALAB and Partnership standards of care and operational expectations. Liaison and communication functions within service and among the several service lines/levels of rehabilitation care; SRALAB and Partnership organizational collaboration and integration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and MBA, MHA, MM or related degree
  • Five to seven years of healthcare administrative or program management responsibilities
  • Analytical ability to design, implement and operate a continuum of rehabilitation services that spans multiple levels of care and various geographies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary in order to interface effectively with all constituency groups and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in rehabilitation service delivery in an academic hospital setting is preferred
