About The Position

The Executive Director, Revenue is responsible for the acquisition and retention of customers and accountable for the financial performance and profitability of an assigned market. Individuals in this role are expected to cultivate deep knowledge and engagement of their local market and put our clients at the center of everything they do. Truly a leader of leaders, Executive Directors build and lead high-performing teams via a combination of direct and indirect reporting relationships that have local cohesion and connectedness. Executive Directors champion a dedicated team culture and use demonstrated communication skills, business success, and ability to empower others to lead by example in a dynamic growth organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Typically 10+ years sales, retention, and/or business development experience with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets. required
  • Typically 5+ years leadership experience, preferably leading first line managers required
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually evolving business and work environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of influencing C-level executives and helping the team drive new client business.
  • Forecasting and quota management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate financial acuity by understanding key financial reports and measures (e.g., P&L, Balance sheet, profitability measures, etc.).
  • Ability to show understanding of sales revenue model to maintain predictable regional profitability through pipeline and clients.
  • Experience with technology and common software and web applications, including Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to build consensus and inspire others to become a part of a higher performing team.
  • Ability to naturally attract talent due to his/her record of accomplishment and performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated dedication to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
  • Travel within assigned territory required.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize with the Head of Revenue to set market objectives and strategies to achieve the monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
  • Hire, attract, retain and develop market talent while providing exceptional leadership and driving a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Work closely with cross-functional market partners to establish successful sales and retention programs and initiatives that drive market results.
  • Work with Channel Sales partners to drive our vertical, industry, and channel initiatives.
  • Achieve quota and increase revenue in assigned market through collaboration and planning.
  • Drive customer retention for assigned market through effective collaboration with Customer Relationship Management partners.
  • Build brand recognition and ecosystems in local communities.
  • Review and communicate market performance and proactively develop strategies to enhance and improve results.
  • Accurately forecast sales and retention for assigned market and build gap plan activities to address any variances.
  • Track customer, market, and competitor activity to develop market sales strategies and regional demand generation campaigns.
  • Act as a key player in championing corporate change initiatives.
  • Foster cooperation, communication, and commitment among team members and across boundaries to ensure achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
