Position Summary As Executive Director, Regulatory Affairs – Pharmacy and Healthcare Legal, you will serve as a strategic leader driving enterprise-wide pharmacy advocacy and innovative pharmacy initiatives with Boards of Pharmacy. This role is accountable for shaping and influencing pharmacy practice regulations across multiple states, building trusted relationships with regulatory bodies, and ensuring alignment with organization priorities. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of the pharmacy business, manage competing priorities, excel at deductive reasoning, and work collaboratively across the enterprise to deliver best in class results. The Executive Director will provide forward-thinking guidance, anticipate regulatory trend, and deliver innovative solutions that enable business growth while maintain compliance. In partnership with your direct report, you will manage relationships with Boards of Pharmacy across 12-16 states, represent CVS Health at Board meetings and conferences, present strategic initiatives, support licensure applications, and address inquires. You will educate Boards on national and state legislative trends, propose rulemaking, request pilot approvals, and secure favorable interpretations or waivers to advance enterprise objectives. As a key advisor to senior leadership, you will demonstrate exceptional executive presence, influence decision-making at all levels, and lead a high-performing direct report to execute advocacy strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Success in this role requires a visionary approach, deep subject matter expertise, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes with agility and precision.
