About The Position

The Executive Director of Mission Support Services is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for strengthening the infrastructure that enables the YMCA to fulfill its mission of putting Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. This role provides strategic leadership for core support functions: Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, Information Technology, and Facilities. This role will ensue operational excellence, stewardship, and alignment with the YMCA’s cause. As a mission-driven business leader, this individual serves as both a systems thinker and change agent, building high-performing teams, scalable systems, and effective practices that advance organizational impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Business, Public Administration, Nonprofit Leadership, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, and risk management
  • Senior leadership experience overseeing multiple administrative functions
  • Demonstrated success managing complex organizational systems
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution capability

  • Lead strategies to attract, develop, and retain mission-driven staff

  • Oversee performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations

  • Promote a culture of safety for program participants, members, staff, and volunteers
