The Role: As a key leadership figure, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, regulatory compliance, and the consistent application of evidence-based clinical practices across all ambulatory care locations in Southern California. What You’ll Do: Leadership: Collaborative Partnership: Develops a strong partnership between clinical operations, physician leadership, and operational leaders to maintain high standards of clinical practice, safety, and scope of practice. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards. Change Management: Support change through collaborative partnerships and lead initiatives to improve patient care outcomes and satisfaction. Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop caregivers, fostering a culture of professional growth and continuous learning. Clinical Consultancy: Serve as a clinical consultant and role model, providing guidance and expertise to support high-quality, evidence-based care. Conflict Resolution: Address caregiver, physician, and advanced practice provider concerns to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Budget Management: Oversee departmental budgets, ensuring financial stewardship and operational efficiency. Performance Monitoring: Monitor performance, support evaluations, and implement strategies for clinical caregiver growth and development. APP Utilization: Lead initiatives aimed at expanding Advanced Practice Provider (APP) utilization across California, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention. Development: Education and Training: Ensure ongoing education and training for nursing and clinical caregivers to maintain high standards of clinical practice. Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance evaluations and implement strategies for staff development. Interdisciplinary Care: Collaborate with operations and physician leadership to optimize clinical roles. Regulatory Awareness: Monitor state and federal regulations affecting clinical practice to ensure compliance. Quality Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practice and performance of Medical Assistants (MAs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • 10+ years of Progressive Leadership experience
  • 10+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • California Registered Nurse License (Upon hire)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Collaborative spirit with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, standards, and scope of practice
  • Demonstrated history of advancing professional development and enhancing patient care quality
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with a confident leadership presence

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Health Care Administration
