If so, join us to lead the Human Resources discipline for our Cell Therapy Development and Operations (CTDO) businesses. As the Executive Director Human Resources for an integrated end-to-end development and operations unit, consisting of over 4,000 people globally and expanding. This role is a member of both Product Development & Supply Chain (PDS) HR and the CTDO Leadership Teams and is responsible for leading a team of top HR Talents globally across five sites. The Executive Director Human Resources provides strategic HR partnership to the CTDO leadership team to drive business performance through focused execution of our People Strategy. Anticipates and solves for organization performance and talent challenges. Understands the business value drivers and demonstrate use of data & external trend insights. In addition, the incumbent will also play a key role in leading multi-disciplinary initiatives of highly strategic relevance across PDS, HR and BMS overall.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of HR experience, preferably in multinational businesses
  • College/University degree (advanced degree preferred)
  • Business Partnering: Extensive experience as an HR business partner with significant leadership skills and experience building and leading global diverse teams of HR professionals.
  • Change Champion: Broad experience in developing and implementing change management initiatives and driving organization performance. Demonstrated ability to proactively anticipate and manage business issues and taking initiative to drive necessary change.
  • Senior Leader and matrix navigation: Demonstrated success in working effectively at senior management levels to impact and influence decision making. Experience in working effectively within a matrixed environment and building alignment in a global cross functional and team environment.
  • Multi-cultural citizenship: Proven ability to work across multiple countries and cultures in a global environment.
  • Translating Business Strategy into credible People Solutions: Demonstrated strength in business and organizational acumen by using insights about the business environment to improve talent and business outcomes. Demonstrated skills in applying workforce planning knowledge, engagement strategies, D&I strategies, and talent & succession management.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the SVP Cell Therapy Development & Operations and respective Leadership team to drive business performance and foster collaboration and innovation across the enterprise.
  • Translate business strategy and organizational needs into contemporary organizational solutions including organizational design, inclusion and diversity, succession & talent management, and culture change.
  • Collaborate across the HR OP Model (COE’s, People Services) to articulate business needs and partners in delivering solutions in ways that bring value across the enterprise.
  • Champion “systems thinking” and the application of data and metrics that drives business performance.
  • Shape and lead change management efforts to ensure delivery of organizational solutions, programs, and deliverables.

Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
