About The Position

We are looking for an Executive Director of FP&A to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be the primary business partner to Marketing and support key financial processes related to Programming, Cash Management, and General & Administrative functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, hands on financial management experience, and a solid understanding of the entertainment industry. Candidates for this position should have previously held a senior-level FP&A or finance role with experience managing and developing team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 8 to 10+ years of progressive finance or FP&A experience, including roles with supervisory or team-lead responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to guide and develop team members while fostering a collaborative environment
  • Strong business judgment and ability to operate effectively in dynamic or ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering across cross-functional teams
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including complex financial modeling
  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to develop efficient financial processes and practices

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred but not required
  • Entertainment industry experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience with SAP BPC, Workday Adaptive, or similar planning tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Be the primary finance business partner supporting the Marketing department
  • Execute day to day FP&A activities across Programming, Marketing, Cash Management, and G&A, including monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Partner closely with functional leaders to provide financial insights that support operational decision-making
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate financial performance to the senior leadership team
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc analyses
  • Lead preparation of monthly reporting packages and assist in quarterly forecast and annual planning cycles
  • Drive hands on analytical work to evaluate business trends, performance drivers, and investment opportunities
  • Support the business with special projects and strategic analyses as needed
  • Provide day to day guidance and oversight to FP&A staff, fostering development and building capabilities
