About The Position

About the Role The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations for a high‑profile corporate dining account. This leader will drive menu innovation, elevate the guest experience, and cultivate a culture of creativity, wellness, and sustainability. Modern Recipe is chef‑driven at its core — this role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives on crafting food that is beautiful, nourishing, and responsibly sourced.

Requirements

  • A passion for modern, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine
  • Experience leading culinary teams in corporate dining, hospitality, or high‑volume environments
  • Strong background in menu development, production systems, and culinary execution
  • Knowledge of HACCP , food safety, and best‑in‑class kitchen practices
  • Ability to inspire, teach, and develop a diverse culinary team
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Creativity, curiosity, and a desire to push culinary boundaries within a corporate setting
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years

Responsibilities

  • Lead all culinary operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, presentation, and service
  • Develop seasonal, globally inspired menus aligned with Modern Recipe’s wellness‑focused philosophy
  • Build strong relationships with local farmers, purveyors, and sustainable partners
  • Oversee production for café service, catering, and special events
  • Manage and mentor a culinary team, fostering growth, creativity, and collaboration
  • Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless, hospitality‑driven experience
  • Drive operational efficiency, cost management, and culinary innovation
