About The Position

Executive Catering Chef | Palo Alto, CA The Good Eating Company is seeking a high-caliber Catering Executive Chef for our premier Corporate Services client, Broadcom, in Palo Alto, CA. You will oversee culinary operations across the Broadcom campus. This role offers immense creative freedom to curate and execute elevated, high-end menus for Breakfast and Lunch service, all while ensuring every dish is delivered with absolute perfection to meet the standards of Silicon Valley’s top innovators. The ideal candidate must be highly flexible and ready to accommodate diverse customer requests. We are looking for a visionary leader with a background in fine dining or high-end catering who can partner closely with the client to create memorable, world-class dining experiences in a fast-paced, professional environment. Requirements

  • Culinary Artistry: A rock-solid background in high-end kitchens and a finger on the pulse of modern food trends. You don’t just follow the curve; you stay ahead of it.

  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Master the Back-of-House: Take full ownership of strategic purchasing, inventory, and food cost analysis. You’ll use your expertise in production forecasting to keep the kitchen running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Elevate Culinary Standards: Ensure every plate meets the client expectations. From recipes to top-tier food quality, you’ll be the guardian of the culinary experience.
  • Inspire Your Brigade: Lead with passion. You’ll develop and motivate your team to embrace bold culinary innovations and stay ahead of global food trends.
  • Safety & Tech Excellence: Maintain an inspection-ready kitchen by upholding rigorous safety and sanitation standards. You’ll leverage automated inventory and management systems to drive efficiency across the campus.
