About The Position

This position is for an Executive Business Partner / Executive Assistant located in Aberdeen, MD, requiring 100% onsite presence and a Secret clearance (US citizenship is a must). The role reports to the CEO/CTO/COO and is full-time. This is not a traditional assistant role, but rather a high-leverage Executive Business Partner who acts as a force multiplier for the C-suite. The primary goal is to bridge the gap between vision and execution, ensuring leadership focuses on high-value growth by managing corporate operations. The individual will serve as the primary gatekeeper, a strategic fixer, and the connective tissue to move corporate opportunities from conversation to completion. The role involves optimizing processes, removing administrative friction, and smoothing the path for corporate opportunities, directly impacting the company’s bottom line and scalability. The company values "low ego, high impact" individuals who enjoy being the behind-the-scenes architect of a successful executive team. The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience supporting executives within DOD government contracting firms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years supporting C-level executives, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • 5+ years within government contracting.
  • Unshakeable under pressure, bringing three potential solutions to problems.
  • Possess a "sixth sense" for urgency and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills.
  • Mastery of G-Suite/Microsoft 365 and modern productivity tools (Slack, Notion, Asana).
  • Secret clearance (able to process, US citizenship is a must).

  • Prepare the executive team for the day ahead by synthesizing long reports into concise "cheat sheets" and ensuring they have all necessary context before stepping into the room.
  • Act as the first point of contact for external partners, board members, and potential acquisitions, serving as the "face" of the executive office.
  • Lead special projects—such as organizing board retreats, managing the administrative side of a fundraise, or coordinating high-profile speaking engagements.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the organization and streamline communication between the C-suite and the rest of the company to keep the "corporate engine" running hot.
  • Manage executive expenses, travel logistics (often complex and international), and sensitive corporate documentation with absolute discretion.
