About The Position

The Azure Core Networking Services team is actively seeking a seasoned Executive Business Administrator to become an integral part of their leadership team, providing direct support to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) and his business. Requirements

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.
  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).

Responsibilities

  • Rhythm of Business (ROB): Understands business rhythms, adapts plans to changing needs, manages meetings efficiently, and drives operational improvement.
  • Calendar Management and Meeting Logistics: Manages complex CVP schedule, resolves conflicts, coordinates high-level meetings, prepares materials, collaborates with stakeholders, and ensures thorough follow-ups.
  • Travel Management: Arranges executive travel, creates itineraries, addresses issues promptly, secures documents, and ensures compliance with travel policies.
  • Resource Management: Tracks discretionary budgets, advises on expense management and compliance, and communicates proactively to resolve issues.
  • Event Coordination and Space Management: Oversees event logistics and office space, delegates tasks, resolves problems quickly, and recommends improvements; serves as a subject matter expert for the team.
  • Discipline Growth and Development: Leads, mentors, trains administrative staff, fosters team culture, and identifies strategic growth opportunities in the Business Support community.
