The Executive Associate II, Global Medical Affairs, Neuroscience, will provide high‑level administrative and strategic support to the SVP, Global Head of Medical Affairs, Neuroscience. We are seeking a dynamic, performance‑driven, well‑organized, and highly adaptable individual who thrives in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make informed decisions on behalf of the SVP related to calendar, scheduling, and travel. This individual will consistently demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and strong collaboration across teams. This position will report directly to the SVP, Global Head of Medical Affairs, Neuroscience.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Experience acting as a lead or mentor to other administrative assistants
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and adapt to frequently changing priorities
  • Strong ability to work and think independently, analyze issues, solve complex problems, and deliver high‑quality work with strong attention to detail
  • Education: High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Executive Associate and 7 years of administrative‑related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Prior BMS and Executive Associate experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the SVP, Global Medical Neuroscience, enabling effective leadership, prioritization, and decision-making
  • Proactively manage a highly complex and fast‑changing executive calendar, balancing competing priorities and anticipating shifts in business needs
  • Act as a key liaison between the SVP and senior internal and external stakeholders, including Executive Leadership Team members and cross‑functional partners
  • Prepare, coordinate, and refine materials for executive-level meetings, governance forums, leadership reviews, and external engagements with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support planning and execution of major medical congresses, leadership meetings, advisory boards, and offsites, ensuring seamless logistics, preparation, and follow‑through
  • Anticipate organizational needs and potential risks; independently resolve issues and drive solutions that enable smooth day‑to‑day and long‑term operations
  • Manage complex domestic and international travel arrangements and expense reporting in full compliance with BMS policies and global requirements
  • Track key initiatives, action items, and deliverables on behalf of the SVP to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion, sound judgment, and professionalism
  • Collaborate closely with Chiefs of Staff and Executive Associates across the enterprise to support alignment, consistency, and enterprise-wide effectiveness

Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
