Position Overview The Executive Assistant will oversee and perform a wide variety of administrative support activities for the Head of School and the Board of Education. The Executive Assistant is a highly trusted team member who anticipates needs, manages complexity, and brings clarity to environments with multiple priorities and personalities. This person will require a pleasant, upbeat, and welcoming demeanor, professional judgement, discretion, and diplomacy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to excellence, stewardship, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Productivity systems
  • Must be able to uphold and support the mission statement, values, and faith statement

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three years of executive/C-suite support experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate the needs of the Head of School and operate with a high level of independence and initiative
  • Manage logistics for meetings, events, and Board-related activities, ensuring accurate preparation and follow-through
  • Support school-wide initiatives, processes, and priorities through strong team collaboration
  • Maintain timely, thorough, and service-oriented communication via email, phone, and voicemail
  • Build trust by maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in all matters
  • Coordinate cross functional teams to align solutions-oriented results
  • Utilize institutional knowledge to navigate complex relationships and situations within a deadline
  • Provide high-level administrative and executive support to the Head of School with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with administrative staff, teachers, support personnel, and board members
  • Connect relationally with students, families, faculty, staff, and visitors in all interactions
  • Prioritize, compose, edit, and format internal and external communications as directed
  • Coordinate, attend, and document notes and action items for the Head of School’s leadership teams
  • Communicate on behalf of the Head of school in a professional, positive, and encouraging manner
  • Partner with the Head of School in implementing the Long-Range Strategic Plan and Continuous School Improvement Plan
  • Manage all logistics for Head of School, hosted events, meetings, vendor communications
  • Collaborate with key departments to organize donor connections
  • Maintain the annual calendar of the Board of Education meetings and key governance milestones
  • Facilitate monthly Board of Education meetings and any retreats or outside events
