About The Position

Overview We are seeking a full-time Executive Assistant at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the greater Kansas City area. This role will assist in coordinating complex schedules, supporting internal initiatives, managing communications and executing day-to-day administrative responsibilities. The position will provide primary support to the COO as well as broader support within the company's executive office. Essential Functions Assistant to Chief Operating Officer Serve as the primary point of contact for the COO and collaborate with team members at all levels of the organization and across departments to meet business objectives. Must have a positive attitude, high integrity and a professional demeanor. Assist with complex calendar management including scheduling meetings with internal and external stakeholders, prioritizing requests and resolving conflicts Prepare executive presentations, correspondence, and internal communications. Must be extremely detail oriented with a high aptitude in grammar and editing. Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including trip itineraries and logistics, and process expense reports Facilitate executive review, approval, and signature of critical documents Oversee miscellaneous projects as assigned Executive Office Support Manage logistics and coordination of high-level meetings and events Provide support for quarterly board meetings Provide support to draft, edit and distribute executive communications Assist with calendar management for additional executive officers as needed and help with meeting room set-up, catering and greeting visitors Process calls and correspondence received in the executive office Work collaboratively to support teammates in the executive office, which may include some cross training of responsibilities Manage special projects and perform other duties and functions as assigned Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an executive assistant supporting C-Suite or equivalent Must possess proficiency effectively using Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word and Excel Must be detail-oriented and can work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision Must posesss strong skills creating presentations in Powerpoint Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, ever-changing, fast paced and challenging environment Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Excellent communication skills with a high degree of professionalism Must possess the ability to maintain company information in strictest confidence Dedication to providing quality customer service Must possess excellent writing and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as an executive assistant supporting C-Suite or equivalent
