About The Position

MatX is on a mission to make the world’s best AI models run as efficiently as possible, accelerating global progress in AI quality and accessibility. We are building cutting-edge AI infrastructure at the intersection of hardware and software, and our team is growing quickly. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support and partner with our senior leadership team. The EA will operate as a true partner to the CEO, anticipating needs, exercising judgment, and executing without requiring follow-up. The ideal candidate will be a master at multitasking, communication, and discretion, with the ability to anticipate the executives' needs and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills and a willingness to go above and beyond to support your executives. This is a hybrid role that will require you to work from our Mountain View, CA office 3 days a week, on Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced industry, such as in HW-SW / technology/AI/startup
  • Clear, proactive, and professional communicator who can comfortably operate with ambiguity
  • Expertly manage multiple workstreams, detail-oriented without missing important scheduling or travel details, and prioritize moving at speed in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong collaborator who takes pride in empowering our cross-functional teams to succeed, by supporting their access & productive interaction with the CEO
  • Strong executive presence, including comfort pushing back and confidence managing senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Leverage smart tooling to scale their impact beyond what headcount alone could achieve, automating the repeatable so they can focus on the highest priorities

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage multiple executives' complex schedules, strategically prioritize meetings, and protect time to ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Handle and prioritize emails, communicate updates, decisions, and action items. Follow up to ensure tasks are completed
  • Prepare agendas and follow up on action items as needed. Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings
  • Manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity
  • Assist with strategic projects, internal initiatives, and research tasks as directed
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the executives and internal/external stakeholders
