Peregrine TechnologiesSan Francisco, CA
4d$190,000 - $220,000

About The Position

As the executive assistant to the CEO, you will play a critical role in how Peregrine scales by helping our CEO scale himself. This role will span everything from calendar management, to travel, to occasional events, to partnering with the CEO and his immediate staff to make sure his time best reflects his top priorities. You will serve as a trusted liaison to external parties, an ambassador of the CEO and our culture internally, and a partner to the rest of his executive team as they work with the CEO to grow the company. You will also help design and refine ways of working across the office of the CEO—process, rhythms, and tools—which allow the CEO to best stay focused on company strategy, Peregrine’s people, and overall execution.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years of experience supporting senior executives, ideally CEOs or founders, preferably in fast-growing startups or similarly fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage many moving pieces and competing priorities without error
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and integrity—this role requires deep trust and comfort handling confidential information
  • Proactive, anticipatory mindset: you think several steps ahead and act before issues arise
  • Clear, concise communicator who can represent the CEO professionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and evolving processes; you enjoy building structure where none exists yet
  • High ownership mentality and bias toward action, paired with calm execution under pressure
  • A systems-oriented mindset and ability to execute not just on the day-to-day, but to work with the CEO’s broader team to implement systems that scale
  • A will and enthusiasm for the company’s mission, for partnering with the CEO, and for working with the broader Peregrine team

Responsibilities

  • Own the CEO’s calendar end-to-end, ensuring his time is allocated to the highest-impact priorities
  • Anticipate conflicts, preparation, and follow-ups so meetings are consistently productive and well-prepared
  • Manage all aspects of CEO travel, including complex multi-city itineraries, last-minute changes, and logistics that balance efficiency and wellbeing
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper and liaison between the CEO and internal teams, investors, board members, partners, customers, and other external stakeholders
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment across highly sensitive company, personnel, and strategic information
  • Build and continuously improve systems, processes, and documentation that scale with the CEO and the company (e.g., contact management systems, email analytics, meeting prep workflows, communication norms, information flow)
  • Track action items, decisions, and follow-ups from key meetings to ensure accountability and forward momentum
  • Support ad hoc strategic and operational projects that extend the CEO’s effectiveness across the organization
