About The Position

The role of the Secondary Executive Assistant is to oversee and execute all aspects of the Secondary School. This position is also an administrative assistant to the Secondary Principal and coordinates hiring, calendar and other administrative duties delegated by the Principal. This position will also assist with shared responsibilities of the front office, as needed. This position reports directly to the Secondary Principal. Specific Duties Include: Junior High scheduling, assign homerooms, class changes, student ID’s, create lunch cards and assign lockers Plan and execute Super iExcel events and 4.0 lunch Manage Secondary Principal's Calendar and support other administrative needs Manage school calendar including building rentals, athletic events, and facility scheduling Arrange Maturation Program Manage loot program and purchase of gift cards for it Coordinate Junior Achievement and other Junior High Award programs and assemblies, Lagoon Day, and graduation Work with board to arrange student trips and Christmas staff parties Help with attendance, carpool, job fairs and field trip drivers Manages seminary lists Send out information to parents and students through emails and texts using One Call Now Manage peer tutors’ daily attendance Administrative support during parent teacher conference or other school events Greet and assist visitors with questions and concerns answer calls update and support attendance line and email communication tend to student illnesses and other emergency needs check students in and out maintain confidentiality of student and parent information assist teachers and TA’s as needed support the Board and parent council with pressing needs clean and stock the sick room assist with dollar dress day assist with carpool as needed maintain order and direction during fire and lock down drills and support student council

Requirements

  • High school diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 3+ years administrative experience; executive-level support preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines with minimal supervision
