Provides support to the City Attorney and Legal Department staff by performing a wide variety of responsible, complex, and confidential administrative duties. Assists in the administration of the standard operating policies and procedures of the department. The employee will have the responsibility of: Coordinating annual budget for City Attorney's Office; Gathers information for the preparation of City Budget; Prepares, maintains, and tracks status of Legal Department budgets Managing of bankruptcy notifications Providing administrative assistance to Paralegals for Public Information requests Maintaining personnel files and ensures evaluation dates are met by all department supervisors Supporting Killeen Sister Cities, Inc. acting as the recording secretary Coordinating travel plans for staff Maintaining and tracks the department's law books and on-line legal research account Maintaining litigation files and case list, calendars for attorneys, inventories, and office supplies Being the Relief Receptionist as needed
