Empowering the world starts with living our values and empowering our team. As a quickly growing company focused on helping people live healthier and happier lives, we ensure that our team members have what they need to do their best work — both in and out of the office. Location: Santa Monica, CA The Role This is a high-touch role based out of our Santa Monica office. The ideal candidate will be in the office to support the CFO and local team and ensure seamless synchronization and real-time responsiveness. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will work in lockstep to drive the CFO’s strategic agenda, maintaining the mobility and flexibility required for occasional domestic and international travel to support the executive and the Finance team with their global leadership off-sites. In this dynamic role, you will serve as a Strategic Business Partner and Force Multiplier to our Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will occupy a unique, dual-impact role: acting as a vital pillar within the Global Administration Team while serving as the primary "shield and accelerator" for the Finance Organization. This role is designed for a high-level operator who thrives in a high-stakes, data-driven environment. You will be responsible for "strategic time-arbitrage"—transitioning the CFO from back-to-back survival mode into a state of strategic focus. You are not just a scheduler; you are the architect of the CFO's workday, ensuring 100% "fire-and-forget" reliability across both professional and key personal logistics.

Requirements

  • An Experienced Partner: 8+ years of experience supporting C-suite leaders (CFO/Finance experience preferred). You don’t just take direction; you anticipate needs and proactively suggest solutions.
  • Financially Literate: You have a foundational understanding of what it means to raise money and the "margins" of a high-growth business, allowing you to prioritize tasks based on the company’s financial health.
  • Unflappable & Assertive: You are a confident communicator who is not afraid to push back, suggest alternatives, and say "no" to protect the CFO’s priorities.
  • Hyper-Organized & Discreet: You have an obsessive eye for detail and a "vault-like" approach to confidential information. You aim for 100% compliance with requests and zero-error output.
  • Agile Operator: You thrive in the fast-paced "sprint" of a tech company, possessing the ability to pivot instantly and maintain a calm, stabilizing presence under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Time Management: Reclaim the CFO’s time by proactively creating time for deep work and auditing meeting requests to ensure every minute is spent on high-impact leadership.
  • Inbox & Communication Proxy: Actively monitor and triage the CFO’s Inbox and Slack. You will identify "hot buttons," filter the noise, and ensure urgent financial priorities are surfaced immediately.
  • Executive Readiness: Prepare all meeting contexts in advance so the CFO never "walks in cold." This includes briefing him on speaking engagements, conferences, and board-level preparations.
  • Gatekeeper-Delegate: Serve as the primary go-to for the CFO’s direct reports, providing guidance and maintaining "forward motion" on projects when the CFO is unavailable.
  • Operational & Financial Rhythm: Coordinate the complex synchronization of the financial calendar, including quarterly closes, audit periods, and investor relations cycles.
  • Holistic Integration: Manage the intersection of professional priorities and personal logistics with extreme discretion. This includes acting as a liaison to ensure family alignment on travel and high-intensity work periods.
  • Logistics & Intelligence: Architect intricate domestic and international travel itineraries. Handle sensitive, pre-earnings, and confidential data with a high degree of business acumen and integrity.
  • Office Management: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in the Santa Monica office. Coordinate in office events, meetings, and team-building activities, ensuring seamless execution from logistics to catering. Manage office supplies, monitor inventory, assist in equipment procurement, and ensure facilities are well-maintained.
