The Research Department at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the VP of Research, the Director of Research, the Co-Director Cardiovascular Research & Clinical Scholars Program, Manager of Cardiometabolic Research and multiple study teams. To be successful in this role, you will need to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload, have strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information. Because you will have a diverse workload, being able to manage several ongoing priorities with last minute requests will be very important. The ideal candidate for this position would have at least 3 years of Executive Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. This is an in person position. The Work: Supports the following positions: •VP of Research for SLHS •Director of Research for SLHS •Co-Directors, Cardiovascular Research & Clinical Scholars Program •Manager, Cardiometabolic Research Program •Provide general support for managers and teams in the Research Department •Provide backup for the other Executive Administrative Assistant in the Research Department Responsibilities include: •Extensive calendar management of busy schedules •Timekeeping, scheduling meetings & conference rooms, ordering supplies, invoice processing, expense report submissions, catering, mail services, floor maintenance (copy machines, liaison with housekeeping and facilities). • General clerical duties, including e-mail communications, preparing letters and mailings, filing paper and electronic materials. • Administrative projects, as assigned, including organizing leadership committee meetings and special events.
