About The Position

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA CV division is currently seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant. This is a full time position based at our Southfield MI facility. The Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing direct administrative, project, and logistical support to the President, Commercial Vehicle & Aftermarket North America. This role will handle multiple urgent priorities efficiently, effectively, and with the utmost concern for confidentiality. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
  • Minimum four (4) years’ experience in an administrative function
  • Minimum one (1) year experience utilizing Office 365 products including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Provide world class administrative support while remaining flexible to allow for changing priorities and timelines
  • Manage calendars for leadership team members by scheduling meetings, resolving overlaps and/or conflicts in accordance with the leader’s preferences and guidance
  • Manage the coordination of meetings (both in person and remote) for small and large global meetings ensuring physical infrastructure or digital processes are ready to go. This will also include small and large event planning and execution which could include coordination for visiting senior management and customers.
  • Partner with/cover for other assistants with meeting preparation and execution depending on location, vacation schedules, etc.
  • Coordinate domestic and global travel arrangements and planning logistics, including processing of visas and passports as needed. Ensure smooth travel organization, itineraries provided, details coordinated (meals, preferred seats on planes, etc.)
  • Collaborate with leaders and teams to create, update, and edit meeting and event materials, providing effective administrative and technology support using Microsoft Office and other project software.
  • Support key initiatives including strategic planning, profit plan, organizational capability assessment and special projects. Provide administrative support in confidential and sensitive situations.
  • Prepare monthly reports, expense reports, presentations and processing of invoices utilizing Eaton’s internal systems and tools. Coordinate monthly reports including data collection, formatting, preliminary analysis, and preparation of recommendations. Organization of files and retrieving documentation (electronic and hard copy) in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, Eaton’s policies, and business needs.
  • Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support meeting coordination and occasional related travel arrangements/expense reports for extended team members, as needed
  • Ad hoc administrative support as needed
  • Comply with the policies, procedures, and expectations outlined by Eaton’s Management System for the Environment, Safety, Security, and Health (MESH) and Quality Management Systems
