This is an advance administrative secretarial position in the Director's Office, whereby the incumbent applies a broad knowledge of County government functions to support the Director of the Department of Family Services. The incumbent performs duties to include sensitive, controversial and privileged assignments utilizing independent judgment and initiative via directives of the Director. The incumbent will serve as the lead departmental staff regarding secretarial, administrative, and office management work assignments. The incumbent may have direct and independent contact with all levels of management throughout the County and the public.
