About The Position

The Executive Director, Service Line and Clinical Communications (SL&C) is the day to day leader and expert on WellStar Health System SL&C communications strategy to continuously engage WMG, WCP and Affiliated leaders and providers, service line committee physicians and medical staff. Primary Accountability Assists in the creation of WellStar narratives and stories to engage SL&C audiences Identified emerging system/employee communication technologies, techniques and tactics to ensure that WellStar is on the forefront of SL&C engagement Designs calls to action targeted at SL&C members Manages governance structure for SL&C messaging consistent tone and delivery of all messages Motivates SL&C audiences to enhance patient experience and engage in exceeding expectations. Works with Executive Director, System Communications and Events to operationalize strategy for clinical and provider audiences. Creatively translates clinical messaging to broader WellStar audiences and broader system communications to SL&C associates Develops tactics for uniting provider to offer consumer-centric, high quality care to patients Implements leadership's strategy of creating brand loyalty amongst SL&C practitioners Informed by leadership, creates leader and executes a strategy to leverage internally and externally focused events to achieve core communications objectives among SL&C associates

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Branding, Consumer Engagement, Business, related field.
  • Master's Degree
  • Minimum 6 years experience in communication design
  • Specific experience in translating clinical service line content to understandable, actionable information.
  • Minimum 3 years in management capacity and leading significant communication, marketing or consumer engagement projects overseeing the work of others.
  • Possess the drive to develop a highly-engaged cross functional team with identified success in developing those teams.
  • Proven accountability for the ownership of an communication strategic and execution plans and central organization
