About The Position

As an Exclusion Apprentice Technician, you'll be a crucial part of our team, protecting businesses from unwanted pests. You'll conduct comprehensive inspections to identify rodent entry points and implement exclusion measures following the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) standards for pest control. This role combines technical expertise with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Good Communication (written/oral).
Excellent attendance record.
Good driving record.
Computer Skills required.
Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, i.e., Heat/Cold, Heights and Confined spaces.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is desired.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Following on-the-job training and the requirements, employee is required to complete state certification/licensing process.
Ability to use and navigate electronic tablet/phone, etc.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify rodent activity, harborage areas, and potential entry points.
Implement effective exclusion methods using traps, sealants, and other exclusion techniques following TDA standards and EPA-approved materials.
Develop trusting relationships with clients, address their concerns, and deliver exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance, ensuring your uniform, vehicle, and equipment are always in top condition.
Work independently while adhering to daily schedules and route plans, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
Accurately document all work performed, including inspection findings, exclusion methods used, and customer interactions.
Collaborate with the service manager to ensure timely completion of service calls and address any customer concerns promptly.
