Night Shift Excavator Operator
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate excavators and other heavy equipment to support plant maintenance and production. Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation. Assist with material handling, loading, and stockpile management during night operations. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Proficiency in operating excavators and other heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong awareness of safety practices in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
- Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
- Must meet all legal requirements to work in the U.S.
