About The Position

100 Thieves is seeking a dedicated Content Lead / Producer to own and execute all content deliverables for the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC). This contract role spans approximately 4–5 months (April – August 2026), covering the full lifecycle of EWC content—from pre-event campaign planning through on-site production in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to post-event recap delivery. The EWC is a premier global esports festival featuring multiple competitive titles. As a club partner, 100 Thieves participates across several game titles and is required to fulfill a series of marketing campaigns with substantial content deliverables.This role exists to be the single dedicated owner of all EWC content who can plan ahead, manage freelancers, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. This role reports directly to the VP of Digital & Content and works cross-functionally with esports operations, social media, partnerships, and apparel teams.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in content production, preferably in esports, gaming, or sports entertainment.
  • Proven track record producing multi-platform video content (long-form recap videos, short-form social clips, hype reels) under tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing freelance production crews and coordinating on-site shoots at live events or tournaments.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to track complex, multi-campaign deliverables across simultaneous timelines.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects) and familiarity with the full post-production pipeline.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for 2–4 weeks during the summer tournament window.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight while keeping stakeholders informed on progress.
  • Prior experience with EWC, major esports events (Worlds, Champions, Majors), or large-scale international tournaments is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with esports titles 100T competes in: VALORANT, Call of Duty, CS2, Apex Legends, Rainbow Six, Marvel Rivals.
  • Experience working with content creators and streaming talent for collaborative campaigns.
  • Understanding of social media KPIs and engagement-driven content strategies.
  • Portfolio demonstrating tournament storytelling and narrative-driven esports content.

  • Prior experience with EWC, major esports events (Worlds, Champions, Majors), or large-scale international tournaments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead content production across all EWC marketing campaigns and 2+ optional opt-in campaigns (creator campaign, documentary, ENC player promotion).
  • Develop concepts, treatments, and shot lists for campaign assets including hype reels, team highlight videos, 30-second promotional clips, and 90-second CTA videos.
  • Lead the end-to-end production pipeline: ideation, scripting, filming coordination, editing oversight, and final delivery to EWC's submission dashboard.
  • Build a master deliverables tracker mapping every campaign requirement, due date, and responsible party.
  • Produce pre-tournament lead-up content for every title 100T fields at EWC, including team hype videos and road-to-EWC narratives.
  • Mine and organize historical EWC footage from previous years to build compelling narrative content and address the recurring shortage of archival material.
  • Source and manage freelance videographers and editors through the BDC, ensuring on-site production coverage is locked well in advance.
  • Travel to Riyadh for the duration of 100T's competitive participation (estimated 2–4 weeks on-site) and direct all on-site content capture: behind-the-scenes footage, player interviews, crowd reactions, venue content, and tournament storytelling moments.
  • Manage freelance videographers on the ground, ensuring daily footage handoffs and real-time editing turnaround for social clips.
  • Coordinate with the creator campaign talent (e.g., streamers using the production suite) to capture collaborative content.
  • Produce the required high-quality recap video (minimum 5 minutes) incorporating team journeys, key tournament moments, and talent testimonials.
  • Coordinate with club influencers and players for video amplification (minimum 4 required) and schedule talent for video testimonials.
  • Ensure all campaign reporting is compiled and submitted to EWC's dashboard on time to unlock performance-based incentive tiers.
