Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Keeps Bingo building clean, sanitized, and stocked; includes restrooms, bingo floor, VGD game rooms, parking lots, breakrooms, and other work areas in accordance with departments SOPs.
- Completes daily tasks logs.
- Displays and removes (when applicable) hazard signs, i.e., “Wet floor”, “restroom closed”, “Cords on floor” and others as needed.
- Clean tile, vinyl, and carpeted floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. in the Bingo Hall as directed.
- Pick-up and remove trash and recyclable materials from the building and wash trash cans as needed.
- Gather, empty and clean ashtrays.
- Assist other departments as needed.
- Assist with the set up and tear-down, arrange, and/or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Collect soiled laundry articles from designated MIB locations and then load articles, start washers and driers to regulate machine processes to clean laundry.
- Once the cycle is complete, fold, sort and restock articles.
- Handles and disposes of Sharps Container and other bio-hazardous materials.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using Glass or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners to prevent damage.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
