About The Position

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 The Environmental Services Trainer monitors the training of new and existing staff, coordinates and screens candidates for the hiring process, as well as maintains documentation of hiring, education, and orientation for the department. The EVS Trainer collaborates with other members of management to integrate department goals and overall hospital goals, through proper education. This position requires an extremely task-oriented individual whose focus is high standards and accuracy. Must be able to perform tasks of EVS I and II positions. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Act as the database administrator for any computer systems used. Audit and review probationary employees' job specific quality standards. Maintain documentation related to hiring, orientation, training, and education of staff in the department. Perform all duties of EVS Associate I and II. Participate as part of the Management Team by attending meetings, speaking with staff about procedures and policies, and documenting and addressing concerns with staff during six month probationary period. Provide input into departmental policies, procedures and competencies. Train and educate new employees. Train other associates how to: clean assigned areas; keep assigned areas supplied appropriately at all times; report items needing repair or replacement.

Requirements

  • IEHA Certification - International Executive Housekeepers Association, Inc.

  • 2 years EVS experience
