WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT Linen Services Delivers clean linens to all areas of the hospital and ensures an adequate supply of linens is available. Area Maintenance Ensures the laundry department and laundry equipment are well maintained and at acceptable levels of cleanliness. Linen Services Gathers soiled linens, inspects and identifies items requiring special treatment. Equipment Operation Operates washers, driers, and extractors and regulates machine processes, the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives. Linen Services Sorts and counts articles removed from the dryers and folds, wraps or hangs them. Inventory Management Takes inventory counts of each unit assigned, marks laundry articles with identifying code numbers or names. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred High School Diploma/GED 1 year laundry experience Preferred Valid drivers licence and proof of insurance - Crawfordsville only - .
