About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician performs a wide range of duties applicable to assigned area procedures and protocol, supporting Logan Health's mission, vision, and values of quality, compassionate care, reimagining healthcare through connection, service, and innovation, and upholding core values of kindness, trust, collaboration, and excellence. This role involves prioritizing job functions to maintain workflow, identifying and performing duties without specific direction, and correctly using and maintaining equipment and resources safely. The technician must exhibit working knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control, follow confidentiality safeguards for patient and customer information, and respond to pages in a timely manner. Duties are performed efficiently, adhering to department procedures, protocols, and State of Montana laws and regulations, including stocking carts. Logan Health operates 24/7, and schedules are adjusted to meet organizational needs. All job offers are contingent upon passing pre-employment screenings, including criminal background checks, reference checks, drug screening, health and immunizations screening, and a physical demand review. Requirements

  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Self motivated and possess ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a diverse customer and coworker population.
  • Current Driver’s License (To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position).
  • Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.) (To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position).
  • State law minimum liability coverage limits required for personal vehicles used for LH business (To be eligible for the Driver portion of the position).

  • Prior experience answering phones and responding to pages.
  • Possess knowledge of the proper use of commercial equipment and devices.
