About The Position

The Housekeeping Associate III is responsible for the general appearance of resilient floor and carpeted surfaces in corridor, patient rooms, public areas, offices, treatment rooms and any other areas deemed necessary by the supervisor. This role involves performing terminal cleaning of various critical areas such as Operating Rooms, Cardiac Cath Labs, Intensive Care Units, Electro Physiology Labs, Labor & Delivery Rooms, Labor & Delivery Operating Rooms, Recovery Pre-holding, and Behavioral Health Units, all in accordance with standard departmental procedures and hospital objectives at the Medical Facilities. Additionally, the position includes stripping and waxing of floors and other floor tech responsibilities. The successful candidate will complete established competencies for the position within a designated introductory period and perform other related duties as assigned.
